Propose Your Episode (Apply to Host)
You submit a short episode proposal — We will need to know who you are (as the host) and how to contact you, the guest(s) you want to interview and their contact information. We will also need a working idea of the topics, key questions or themes you want to discuss and how that advances the future of healthcare platforms. Please review our Content Guide for ideas, suggestions and answers to frequently asked questions before you start your application to host.
We review your application for fit and focus — We will consider alignment of your proposal with the Platform Health content thesis, if there are any conflicts‑of‑interest, and how it balances with other proposed episodes.
2
Confirm & Sign Agreements
We will notify you of approval or if we need clarification — We will send you an initial starter pack with Host & Guest Participation Agreements, Content & Brand Guidelines, Recording & Editing Requirements, and examples of our Podcast Show Branding Package. Record, Edit & Submit the Episode
You host the conversation — Following the Content & Brand Guidelines, and Recording & Editing Requirements, you will record your episode. Optionally, if you want our support, we may join briefly at the start to help with a tech check or review the guidelines, but we drop so it’s a true peer‑to‑peer conversation.
You (our your team) own the production edits — You will edit for duration, clarity, pace, and story arc – removing dead air, filler words, hesitations, tangents, and/or off‑topic content. Once completed to your satisfaction, you will upload the episode and shownotes to our submission portal us for review.
5
Our Review & Final Editing
We will review for quality and compliance — We will ensure our Content & Brand Guidelines, and Recording & Editing Requirements were met and there are no legal or regulatory red flags (like mentions of personal health information). If we have any concerns we will discuss them with you to decide how to address them.
We will make the final edits — We will add the Podcast Show Branding Package (intro, bumpers, outro) and add any advertisements (if applicable). We may also clean, level, balance, and master audio to match other episodes. Once completed, we will send the final edits to you and your guest(s) for approval.
6
Prep for Promotion & Publication
We will develop promotional materials — We will create suggested social media copy, shorts, quote cards, thumbnails and hashtags we will use on our various social media channels.
Together we will plan the promotion and publiction dates — Once all the materials are finalized, we will work with you on the publication date, and upload it to our platforms to ensure it is ready. It will automatically go live on the configured publication date.
Together we will begin promoting the episode — A few days before the publication date, we will start teasing the episode on our social media and invite you and your guest(s) to amplify on yours. Use it as a calling card for your work and thought leadership.
7
Publish & Engage
The episode will go live! — Time to enjoy the contribution you and your guest(s) have made to the conversation on how we can reimagine the platforms of healthcare! Engage with your audience.
We will follow up with metrics — We will collect metrics after launch (downloads, views, dropoffs) as well as summarize notable feedback from the community and share it with you.
